At the beginning of this year Dave started building a house on our empty lot (next to our duplex that we live in). In February he got the dirt for the foundation and got the pipes in.
...and poured the cement for the slab to build on.
In April the walls were all put up and the trusses were put on for the roof.
In May the siding was put on and the boards on top were put on.
Also in May my dad came and helped with the electrical wiring.

In June the red metal roof was put on and in July the stucco was put on the outside.

Also in June and July the drywall was all put up.
This is the outside of the house today.
The house is 4 bedroom, 2 bath. We wanted to move in by August, but that isn't going to happen, so now our goal is by the end of September.

It is going to look really nice when it is done. We are excited to move in!

Amy, It was so fun to see your family on your blog. I'm so glad you shared it with me. Your kids are getting so big and cute. And I love your house. How is old Wilcox?
