Spring Break

We had a busy and fun spring break last week. First we took the boys fishing. The day started out slow, then all of a sudden the fish started biting. Both Colton and Dallin caught a lot of fish and they are now hooked on fishing! After fishing all day we found a spot to camp.

We came back home for a day, then headed out again to New Mexico to see the land that Dave's dad bought. (It is near Reserve, which is close the Arizona/New Mexico border, kind of by Alpine) We had a good time there, it is really a nice place. It has a creek running through it, which the boys had a fun time playing in.

They also had fun playing on the swing.

Dave and his dad planted a couple peach trees in the orchard. They put fence around the trees to keep the elk from getting them.

We spent the night in a tent, and were really cold. It got down to 20 degrees, and even though we had a lot of sleeping bags and blankets, we were still cold. Carly stayed home with Grandma Parnell, so we didn't have to worry about her being cold.

There is a house, but it needs a lot of work before anyone could live in it. There is also an old barn, and a couple old cabins.

We spent one night here, then we had to come home. We hope we can go back soon! Spring break went by too fast!
