Ethan has started feeding himself! I know, it is pretty sad, who has heard of a 9 1/2 month old who didn't feed himself? Ethan would never put food, toys, anything in his mouth. It was kind of nice not to have to worry about him choking on little toys, but not too fun to have to put all his food in his mouth for him. He is also starting to put toys in his mouth.
He went to his 9 month check-up, and he is not gaining enough weight again. He weighs 15.13 lbs. He is also a little anemic. I have been trying to feed him more, and he is going to go see a gastroenterologist next week to make sure there is nothing wrong with the way he is absorbing his food.

I love all the new pictures. Ethan is so cute and looks pretty happy about feeding himself. I also loved the zoo pictures. You always do such fun things with your kids.
I feel for you, Amy! Both Josh and Evie had trouble growing. It can be such a worry for us Moms. Evie wasn't big into eating either. Maybe Ethan's wanting to feed himself shows some new motivation on his part :)
