He did not do very good the first 2 days. He has some major anxiety issues or something, I don't know what to do for him. He just cried and screamed when we left. One of his teachers from preschool last year helped him the first day, they had to spend some time in the office until he calmed down. On the second day he said somebody sat by him because he kept trying to run out of the classroom. I am going to talk to his teacher on Monday to see what we should do for him. I hope it gets better!

Alena had a few kids that cried for a couple weeks when their parents dropped them off at kindergarten last year. I think it is just hard on some kids, but I think he will get over it once he gets used to it. It is so hard as a mother to make your child do something that they so do not want to do!
That reminds me, a friend of mine's first grader still cries when her mom drops her off. And the other day she had to go to the nurse's office because she was crying so much. She ended up taking a nap there! So, I think it is just a normal thing!
Dallin looks so happy standing by your front door! Too bad it didn't stay that way once at school. Hopefully you can figure out what is bothering him and how to help him have a better time!
