We went to New Mexico a few weeks ago. It had rained a lot and was really green and pretty. There were also a lot of cool bugs and critters, so we started taking pictures of them.

This last one we found at home. It is some kind of cocoon. Dave thinks it is a sphinx moth- he burried it in our yard to see if it will come out.

Love all the critter pictures! I bet your kids had the best time finding all of those bugs!
Yucky! I don't think I would have been too excited about some of those bugs (like the spider, scorpion, giant whatever).
I love all those creepy looking critters. Well, maybe not the scorpion. How fun for the kids!
Yuck! I agree with Melissa! The one with the eggs on it's back gave me the heebeejeebees!
