Travis David Parnell was born on Thursday, November 1st. He weighed 7 lbs 7 oz. He was supposed to be born in Safford, AZ, but we waited too long to go to the hospital. Silver City, NM was a little closer so Dave drove us there. I knew he was going to come soon, and really needed to push, but I held him in with each contraction. I made Dave call 911 as soon as we had service, and an ambulance met us on the road and took me to the hospital. I had him in the ER soon after. It was a crazy ride, with me yelling and screaming and crying and the kids were in the car. My water broke while we were driving. The kids were out in the halls running around when I had him. Yeah, it was crazy. He was born face up, and a nurse said if he had been face down, he would have come out easier, and probably would have come in the car. I am glad we made it to the hospital!

He is so adorable! I can't wait to see him tomorrow and take my turn at holding him! I'm sure I'll have to wait in line with the other kids.
