Grant Creek, Children's Museum, Zoo

We have been trying to do some fun stuff before school starts. Dave and I took the kids to Grant Creek, where we hiked and had a picnic. The boys tried swimming, but it was cold and there were a lot of bugs in the water that they didn't like, so they didn't stay in long.

Natalie and I met at the Tucson Children's museum last week. The kids had a great time playing.

This week I took the kids to the zoo. It was a little too hot, but we had a fun time.

I pushed the stroller up to the fence so Carly could see the lion, and she started talking to it. The lion got up on its legs like it was about to pounce, and all of a sudden lunged at the fence. Then it just stood there staring at Carly. It was a little scary, but Carly liked it. She just kept talking to it.

Looks like you have been doing a lot of fun activities. Cute pictures! I especially like the one with Carly pointing up at the giraffe.
