At the beginning of July we went to Albuquerque for Carly's eye dr appointment.
We decided to make a little vacation out of it.
We stayed at a hotel with a swimming pool, and went shopping, and to the children's museum.
Staying at a hotel with a baby and 3 year old who wouldn't sleep wasn't very much fun.
The museum was a lot of fun.
Looking in the funny mirrors
Dave rode this bycicle out on a tight rope up high.
We went to Heber for the 4th of July weekend.
We got to celebrate Ethan's birthday again!
We also sang to mom and Chris for their birthday.
We went fishing and camping on July 22nd.
First, we went to Big Lake.
We started fishing a little while before a big storm blew in. It was pouring and hailing, and we kept thinking it would stop, but it never stopped. So finally we decided to pack up, and drive out of the storm.
We went on to Hawley Lake.
We stopped and looked at the old cabin. It sure brought back many fun memories of staying and playing there as a kid. It was fun telling my kids about all the fun things we did there!
We fished in Lake Earl for a little while, then drove to Hawley Lake.
We set up our camp at the Hawley Lake Campground.
The kids finally caught some fish at Hawley Lake. They were just small blue-gill fish, but the kids had fun catching them.
It was sure beautiful there!
The only bad thing was the cows walking through our camp all night long, chewing food, pooping and peeing!
Carly lost her first tooth at the end of July!
We went to Gilbert on July 27th for Grandpa's 95th birthday party. Then we stayed a week to take swimming lessons, and hang out and have fun.
The kids loved going swimming everyday. Travis went swimming for the first time!
We had a fun time staying at the Crawford's house!
After we got back from Gilbert, we went on a hike at Mineral Creek- in Alma, NM. It was really pretty, with a fun creek to play in.
